New Here !
My 4 year old IS the reason both my wife and I did the surgery...I want to see her walk down the isle, have children, I want to chase her around the back yard, and be the mother she deserves!!!
you are making the right decision!!!!
So as far as protient...whey is supposedly what we absorb best...I dont care much for it...but can tolerate designer whey vanilla and strawberry, and I love chike orange and banana...and if you like coffe...click is what everyone loves...my wife is addicted!!!!
you can try different protiens at GNC and if you dont like it...you can return with receipt...even if open!!!
AHng in there and believe you are making the right decision....
Reasons why to do surgery
diabetes, high blood pressure, osteo athritis, GERD, coronary artery disease, high cholesterol, heart attack, stroke, loss of linbs and sight from diabetes...Why wouldnt you do it!!!
Anyhow my 2 cents...

My biggest fear was the fear that probably most people facing this surgery have: death during/after surgery.
My solution: I figured, "I'd rather die trying than to die at age 40 of a heart attack/diabetes/etc, leaving behind a family."
Do what your Dr tells you. When you're out of ICU Recovery & in your own room, wake up a bit & WALK! Hold a pillow against your tummy & give yourself plenty of Morphene. Walking keeps your blood circulating, helping to prevent blood clots.
