well diagnoses with anastamotic on july 2nd as you know. 5 weeks after I suspected I had an ulcer but surgeon kept saying, "oh no, probably just gastritis" I asked him 3 times for a scope but nooooo.... I am feeling like total crap! Can't eat without feeling like I'm going to vomit and or vomiting. I had to withdraw from my summer class at Massasoit because of the vomiting , nausea , and diarrhea. I am barely eating and can't tolerate protein shakes. Apparently they are too harsh on my stomache or something. My day consists of cream of wheat, cheese stick, yogurt and more yogurt. Any advice greatly appreciated. going to see GI specialist now for some advice. When will this go away??????????? I know I am not eating well. I am stuck on stage 3 with the exception of cheese and an occasional 1 oz of turkey or chicken which doesn't sit well. No veg or fruit or carbs. this can't be healthy. I am not even going to call my surgeon because all he does is stick me in the hospital. I should know next week if Dr. Pecquex will take me on. I pray she will. she should have reviewed my records by now but is only in on tues and wed.

My doctors office suspected I might have a marginal ulcer so they doubled my Protonix and it took care of the nausea.  I now take one pill in the morning and one a little bit before dinner.  I still have it occasionally, but nothing like before.  I am now able to eat and drink.  I am thankful they were willing to help me.  I hope you feel better soon!
