yeah, I wish I was doing real "nothing". Instead I'm doing exercise "nothing", though I think the walk across campus to go to class is a 1/2 mile.

cheer up!! I've had a mini luna binge today - they are to good to keep at my desk - have to hide them. I have to go meet with my surgeon this wed and I am petrified - with not saline in my band I've gained 23 lbs is 6 weeks - he is going to be pissed (or maybe i'm just getting myself all worked up for noting).
So why are you in a crappy mood today?? Talk to me, text me, fb me - I'm at work but I cheat with texts!!

I don't think he will be pissed at all ... the surgeons know about the struggles we go through (thank god for that and for the amazing work they can perform on us with our tools!)
Ugh crappy mood w/ my eating habits. I complain about the scale not moving and then I eat breakfast. few hours later I eat 2 luna bars. Then I go to a work meeting and then Wal Mart (the one in Walpole and they had the choco p'mint!) and ate a Clif bar on the way home for lunch. I come home and eat the big Luna bar followed by 2 more mini Clif bars. had maybe 1/2 a bottle of water and now just shoved about 5 tbsp of peanut butter in my mouth! (and it was the regular kind and not the natural ... at least I feel "less guilty" about the natural.)
Lately I've been finding myself kind of going back to my old habits and it scares the **** out of me..
Thanks for all your support .... so glad I've gotten to become friends with you
I barely keep in touch with any friends from school/college and only a small amount of people know I had surgery (I'm VERY private about it with people I'm not comfortable with) so I love that I can talk with you and everyone else as there is no judgement and everyone has been in the same boat ...thank you !!
OK, THAT'S ENOUGH OF MY EXTRA LONG POST!!!

you might need to hide those Luna and Cliff bars!
I'm in a "let's get a handle on the food" place myself. I'm up 2 lbs (I know, 2 whole lbs, big deal), but with my exercise coming down a bit, I just can't eat like I did when I was training for the half marathon. I think if I lose 1 lb I'll feel fine and won't worry about it, but the panic is a *****
I would suggest journaling your food so that you can see how many calories you are taking in, and how many carbs/proteins. That might help you steer yourself back to where you want to be. The fat in peanut butter adds up after a while!
