Happy Happy Joy Joy! - Consult was Great!
I just have to say I've returned from my surgeon's office *so* excited. In one day I met with a psychiatric nurse, nutritionist, lab people and the surgeon, who gave me a green light to a VSG!
Everyone I spoke to was so upbeat and reassuring about insurance, what a great surgery this is. The office was serene and everyone was so well-organized. Dr. P said she can do my surgery next month! I have a sleep study in the next couple weeks and one follow up.
The staff commented on how well informed I am and how calm and I attributed it all to YOU. I just couldn't be happier ...

You really have chosen a great hospital. I love the staff at NWH - from the office staff all the way to floor nurses and aides you meet when you have your surgery.
I didn't have Dr. Patridge, but have met her in the hospital and at support group meetings and have nothing but good things to say about her. You are in good hands.

I love the program to HOWEVER all presentations, etc. are exclusively geared to the RNY and Dr. P thinks the VSG is a great choice for me. The practice has only done a bout 12 of them - I have complete faith in Dr. P - would having had relatively little experience in this specific procedure
