Couch to 5k

I started the couch to 5k today. 

Anyone else doing this?

Walking speed is 3.7
Running speed is 4.3

Better than I thought it was going to be.

Would like to do a run/walk 5k race in October.

I am a graduate of the couch to 5K!  I totally loved it!

You are right on track and should be ready to run a whole 5K by October.

There is an exercise and fitnes forum here on OH that you are welcome to participate in - lots of runners of various speeds, experiences with lots of advice and information.

I tried a running program on Inike.com - didn't go well - hopeing to do it again - but.......

either way I'll keep up the walking !
 
Kerri, and I thnk Sue you did too - mentioned a walking marathon - are their really any ? Would LOVE to do that !

The Half Marathon a few of us just did welcomed walkers, running, rollerbladers, etc.  Events out there exist!

I know the walk for hunger every May is a great event for walkers - and is either a marathon, or 20 miles.

I have it on both my Nike+ and my iPod but haven't started yet. Its hard to find the time to do everything that I want to. Let me know how it goes!
