support groups

Hi, I'm pretty new here, only posted once or twice, I'm considering RNY but haven't actually started the process yet other than going to an orientation meeting at Tufts.  Anyway, I live in Whitman and was wondering if there are support groups that are in my area and would include people like me.

Absolutely !! You are more than welcome to come to the one in Bridgewater - we usually meet on the last Monday of the month - but that is Memorial day so we are meeting on the 24th. We meet at 6:30 If you are interested - Message me and I 'll give you the address. We have a couple of pre-ops and lots of people that have gone through the Tufts program, so you are more than welcome !!!

I also host a support group meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6pm, so this months is coming up tomorrow!!  I live in Quincy, if youd like to attend, message me and I can send you my address.

I'm fairly new and the last meeting in Bridgewater was my first.  They are an awesome group of people and lots of Tufts people there (including me ... my first appt is next Monday).  I HIGHLY recommend it !!
