So some of you may know... My hunnie Kevin is an avid hunter and fisherman... he eats breathes and sleeps it!!!!
Well Friday night he cooked me a fabulous Venison dinner... with rice and asapargus....I had never tried Venison before and was willing to give it a try.... Well let me tell you it was awesome... Did not taste gamey like everyone was saying it would.... I can't believe how weightloss friendly it is!!!!! Very light easy to chew didn't feel like lead in my pouch like steak sometimes can do.... Then I looked up the nutrition online wow!!! What an amazing amount of protein and full of B-12 I'M SOOO HAPPY I TRIED IT ! I can't wait to make meatballs and sauce yummo!!!!!

melissa i give you credit. im such a hypocrite when it comes to meats. i dont do the hunting thing, guns scare me lol. i buy my meat in the store. and im so finicky... ill eat chickens and turkeys and cows, and fish, but i wont eat lamb, pig, veal... lol
i have a husband who isnt into hunting either but grew up in utah where hunting is big and has had all different kind of meats and he said his two favorites were deer and bison (or buffalo? are they the same??? ok my randolph is showing huh?!)

jdr... I say I'll try anything at least once!!! It was sooo good !!!!! Last night I'm like hunnie do you have any that is ground up like hamburg so I can make meatballs.... He couldn't believe I'd want to make meatballs with it... I said yes with my homemade sauce... YUMMY!!!!
