A few of us are training for a 1/2 marathon to be run in June...and as part of the same event is a 5K, and a 1 mile walk.  Running and/or walking is accepted!  There will be family fun activities as well.  If people want to come and support us runners, and celebrate with us afterwards at the event, that would be AWESOME!

Damn!!!! I had a feeling that it will be June 13th......

I'm doing a walk for childrens hospital in Boston for a friend of mine that her 3yr old son is kicking some cancer ass!!!!!!    Jesse is the most amazing little boy!!!  They money we raise will going directly to the floor that has helped save his life... He still will be fighting for a long time but what they have done is just a miricle!!!!

It appears we both will be doing some amazing things that day!!!!  I will be with you, Robyn and Katie in spirit!!!!!  Rock on girls!!!! 

As you know I want to start running and hopefully be able to do a 5k I can't imagine a 1/2 marathon right now...lol

Way to go Sue!! I'm so glad you're doing this an Katie too!! If you look on the website you can see that I'm registered and ready to go!!

I doing a 3 mile run on Saturday to get me back on track training! I hope I survive!  :)

I'm scheduled for 5 miles tonight.  Can't believe 5 miles used to sound like the worst distance ever, now it's a medium sized run!  You will be like that too!  2 weeks to my 10 miler!!!!
