looking for a plastic surgeon around boston
Hi.. I am looking for a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck and possible breast lift. I saw one yesterday at Faulkner Hospital, but was disappointed with their prices and they told me the insurance will not cover the tummy tuck.. now when I called my insurance company which is Harvard Pilgrim they told me that they do cover that after gastric bypass surgery. I am seeing that alot of plastic surgeons do not like to deal with insurance companies. Anyone had these surgeries done in Boston and had insurance cover it?
I had this Dr for my breast reduction he was awesome and had the best bedside mannor ever!!!!! He is worth the visit.....
I'm not sure any health insurance will cover tummy tucks....

a girl i went to high school with works there but they do not work with insurance
I was hoping I could get a breast lift but she told me that after they remove the excess skin I will likely be an A cup.. I am fine with my B cup but I dont want them smaller lol
I think they will cover the removal of the skin but not a full tummy tuck

I had a consult with Dr. Christopher Davidson in Wellesley - and he seemed to be very interested in working with insurance companies, and he does A LOT of post-bariatric work. I believe Harvard Pilgrim is the easiest to work with - and Dr. Davidson is happy to do appeals if denied.
Good luck!

I am definately intereasted in the resident program.I go to Harvard Dental School for my teeth. It takes a little longer but I save a mint!!!So If you would be so kind to give me the info on who I contact,I would be so greatful.I haven't had my surgery yet,but I'm saving my money for Breast lift,Tummy Tuck,Arm de-flapping,and maybe a face lift!!!
just call the platic surgery department at Mass Gen to make the appt..make sure you ask about the residency program when you schedule so that they place you in the correct department. please feel free to email any questions you may have. i absolutely loved their program. had a face lift, tummy tuck and BL/BA...fabulous care and awesome residents/attendings.

Thanks for the info.I've seen you for a while on the web-site,and I got excited when I saw you had the same surgeon as I am going to have.I've met him and I've got my approval and surgery date.He seems like he's all about business, not very engaging, but very professional.
I really don't care what his personality is like,as long as he knows what he's doing!!
