My First WOW
I always read peoples WOW moments...and wondering what I will consider mine to be....last night I sure had one - and i am as giddly as a teenageer today!
I went out with friends after work and I immediately see a amazingly attractive man - best looking in the place by far. I am with 8 other woman - ages 22 and up, who are all very attractive. I am sitting next to a beautuful girl - who I assume it is her that he is staring at. We caught one another eye so many times - but I only was looking up because I am thinking "wow - it looks like he is checking me out - but there is just no way...he wants katie" so this goes on for an hour he is in the bar area and i am in the table section. suddenly...a tap on my shoulder MY SHOULDER "can i talk to you for a minute" i instantly wanted to say "katies has a boyfriend" or that it was a joke or something. he told me that he has wanted to talk to me since i walked in but was intimidated by the large group of women and wanted to pull me aside so he didn't feel uncomfortalbe with them all staring at him as he tries to get to know me. HUH? ME? really? yes really. he said he thought I was beautiful and would regret it if he didn't approach me. he was so nervous. a guy nervous to talk to me!?
i am by no means bragging - or want to come off that way. but i am always the girl the hot guy talks to so that he can get to one of my friends. so to be the one that was pulled away from her friends (and i was in scrubs) that way was a huge compliment and to be singled out, called stunning etc. blows my mind. when he asked me if i would like to go out sometime, i had to tell him i was married...with children. and he was so disappointed and kept saying so. i told him he was an amazing guy and i would love to set him up with one of my friends and he said "but i am attracted to just you" ODD! he was 28 to my 34. and thought i was in my 20's!
so that was my wow moment...the hottest guy in the place wanted to talk to me - , and it was not a joke and he didn't want me to introduce him to my cute friend.
