tomorrow is my day!
Just wanted to report that I am home and doing just fine!
I was released yesterday at about 3pm (takes 1.5 hours to get home) and so I was exhausted and in serious pain when I got home. This morning was rough, too, but this evening I really feel a difference and can tell I am on the road to a nice recovery.
I remember trying to hard before surgery to imagine how on earth it could take someone 45 minutes to eat a few spoonfuls of yogurt, but I get it now! Yee**** takes everything I have to keep going and eat a little bit and drink the water, too!
Thanks again for al of the support and info I have gotten here-- it made all the difference in feeling like I had the tools to do this in an educated way.
