Feeling a bit defeated
Hello everyone. I have been under a lot of stress this past week and a half and I haven't been as good as I should be. I was placed on the pre-op partial liquid diet in August and my surgery date is Oct. 27th, I have been very good so far but I just recently moved to a new house in a new town and I am not at home as much as I had been. I haven't been too bad but I just know I could do a lot better. I am commited to this surgery and the lifestyle changes that I will have to make. I have alreagy passed my pre-op goal and I don't think I gained.(Or at least I hope not) How long was everyone else on this partial liquid diet? I could really use some support right now. Thanks for everything. Take care.
If there is one thing I've learned it's - that we have to FORGIVE ourselves when we make a mistake and just start again !!! So don't be to hard on yourself. Use this time to learn to journal - it will be helpful and - figure out your stressors - - when is it you aren't able to stay on track, etc. That will also be helpful for you !
So give yourself room to make mistakes but be prepared to get back on track - you will be fine !!!
Good luck !!
Would love to see you at a support group. There is friend of mine that comes from Wareham !!

I didn't have to do any kind of pre-op liquid diet, so I can't help you with that, but I wanted to reiterate, that there are a lot of "starting over" days in this journey. You can't fix the past, so start over tomorrow with the attitude that you're going to do the very best you can.
