Loose skin for better or for worse!

I have a question for the post-opers...

If your loose skin better or worse than you expected?  Did anyone not get it?   I can't imagine it's going to be a pretty site for me!  It it mostly where you have had stretch marks?  Worse for those that have had babies?  Does working out help at all - either working out pre or post op?

Thanks!

some parts are better than i feared... my belly.  some are worse - THIGHS.  ugh.

I look pretty great IN clothes.  I wear a skirted bathing suit.  I'm too cold to wear sleeveless anyway..but my arms aren't horrible.

I've never had a baby and I'm 35.

I may or may not get a lower body lift.  I currently do not suffer from any rashes due to overhang.

It's what I expected. I've been fat all my life ..plus I had a kid ...so it hangs every where ....arms, thighs, tummy, and I have saggy boobs!

The key is wearing slimming underwear and the right clothes!!! Don't buy clothes just because it's your size or you like it ..buy stuff that either hides the skin or "works" well with the skin!!

My skin was worse than I expected.  I was not heavy all of my life.  I was actually very thin as a child and into my early twenties.  I also had 3 children and 1 delivery by c section.  I could have lived with the extra skin if I had to.  I had a lower body lift, breasts and upper thigh lift. My arms are o.k.  I can wear sleeveless tops as long as I don't hold my arms out to the sides.  Working out may help a little as well as age, water intake, genes, and the amount of time of being obese.

thanks for all the responses.  i anticipate surgery within the next 2 months or so and go thru waves of what i am anxious about...this week it is the skin issue!  i have to go in expecting the worst and just let it happen.  i don't look good naked now - so it can't be much worse!?!
