Lets start a Coffee Meeting..

Is anyone interested in making a monthly or bimonthly coffe house meeting in the area?  I would love to be able to meet up and make some new WLS surgery friends in the area.  If anyone is interested....just respond and throw out some ideas...we could meet at a local Starbucks or similiar...I am about 10 months post op and am looking for some encouragement and some people to talk to face to face.  Pre-op Post op...just looking at WLS....WOuld really love to talk to talk to some others who have or are facing the WL demons like me...

I live north of Boston in the Burlington/Woburm/Billerica/Wilmington/Winchester area.  I would be willing to travel and heck there may already be a group that meets that might allow me to intrude...LOL  .  Any takers???

hi i live in watertown, i'm not far.  i wouldn't mind getting together sometimes, and i'm unemployed so not a lot to get in my way :P  i know there are also some hospital-based support group, i don't know if they are restricted to people from that program or not.  Lahey Burlington's meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6pm, next meeting would be August 10th and I already plan on attending.  I know St E's has some support meetings (Brighton).  Again i don't know if they are open or not.  Want to check?

I was looking for additional support ...like a very informal group.  My surgeon has a group (winchester hospital) that I go to, but I would love to meet in a cozier setting if you are at all interested.  We could pick some mid way type area.  I would love to get a few people just to be able to talk and exchange victories and defeats etc.  I feel like it could benefit us all.  Let me know if you want in!!
