Hi everybody in the Massachusettes Forum- panni removal approved!

I Know I have not posted here in a long time but I wanted to share that insurance has approved my panni removal...  surgery is 8/31... I'm so happy to be rid of this extra skin!

Congrats!! I had a panni back in December! 

how was your recovery?

It was pretty good. Worse than my RNY but only because my incision was like 20 inches long, yikes!! The surgeon compared it to a c-section even though I've never had one before LOL! It was a take it easy kind of surgery for sure!

What kind of hoops did you have to jump through? I'm just now trying to set the stage for this, so. . . 

Bc/Bs.. they said no at first and just wanted more infomation.. so my plastic surgeon had to send them more and Dr. Partridge sent them a letter too saying it was medicaly ness.
I did not have any rashes at all.. once in a while my belly button would get icky and thats it.. I am so worried about rashes that I keep it clean and dry all the time.
