Good Morning OHers,

I moved out of obese and into overweight when I weighed in this morning for a total weight loss of 73.4.  Less than 30 to goal.

Not too shabby for 3 months post op.

Hope everyone else is doing great.

Brenda

Brenda,

I remember the day well when my wii fit went from saying "that's obese" to "that's overweight"! I was never so happy to be told that I was overweight.

I have 20 pounds to go to be considered normal. I feel great where I am. I have not lost or gained weight since Thanksgiving other than up a few and down a few. I think this is it.

Huge CONGRATS!!!

Jayne,
From my research, those regular BMI charts may never mean a lot to those of us who have been obese, due to increased bone density.

Body fat percentage may be a better tool to know where you are at.  I have a scale at home that calculates my BMI and my BF%, which I'm glad to see both of.  Sometimes my weight goes up, but the body fat goes down.  fine by me!

In any case, overweight is a beautiful thing!  I believe Kendra is technically "overweight", and is a size 4.  I don't think we need to be smaller than that!!!

Love,
Sue

Yay Brenda!!!!

I'm still overweight...but whatever!!!  Once I get this 15-20 lbs of skin removed, I'll be "normal".  If I ever get that done.  I want to, I just don't have time to recover.  Someday, who knows.

Congrats!!!!
