I bought some clearance sweaters at TJ Maxx this weekend.... in size LARGE.  I got XLs for Christmas, which are fine, but a Large!  what a hoot!!!  I still wear my 3Xs over leggings so I don't have to freeze or wear the same 3 sweaters all week.

Today I have on a L sweater on top of an XL top, and I think I'm fabulous.  I can't wait to get around to buying new pants!

Now that I am exactly three weeks away from having my surgery actually COMPLETE it is starting to sink in that this is actually going to happen for me.  It's not a dream to be thin anymore.  The nerves have not hit me yet though.  I am still really excited.

I went through all my clothes this weekend and took out everything that is too small (nothing was too big!) and put them in rubber bins.  ( I had four bins)  Now I just have the clothing in my closet that fits and it is so less stressful getting dressed now.  It was amazing too see that I have 15 pairs of pants that I will be able to wear (some never ever worn cause they didn't fit) once I loose some weight.

I have two pairs of really cute Bermuda shorts that I bought for a cruise to (you guessed it - Bermuda) a few years ago and thought they would fit if I just lost a few pounds but ended up gaining instead so that I have not been able to wear.  Well, I will definately be able to wear them this summer along with a ton of other "new" clothes from my closet!

and NOW i stop the babble!

You babble all you want. I can't tell you what a thrill it was at the end of the summer to pack up all my summer clothes FOR GOOD.  I brought them all to my mom's house to sort through and decide which to send to a friend in Florida, which to donate, etc.  I will never wear those clothes again!  I did it again when i was home recovering from surgery with all the fall/winter pants that were falling off.  I have a very limited wardrobe right now, but it's all good!!!  I can buy my clothes anywhere!

one tip:  keep a good eye on those old/new clothes of yours...you can sail right through sizes, so wear'em while you can!

Yeah, I will probably never even wear some of the "old" clothes.  I get how fast it is going to happen but I am not sure I quite believe it yet.  As I was sorting through the sweaters I was like, "Yeah this is nice but if I ever get to wear it, it is going to be huge on me!"

You have the right idea -- hang on to all your too small clothes.  I shopped in my own closet for the first six months -- then I had to give it ALL away and buy clothes in smaller sizes than I'd ever worn.  What a great feeling to be getting too small for clothes instead of too big!  And the shopping --the shopping!!... ahhhh I could go on & on -- but I have to put thoughts of shopping out of my mind for now....$$$$
