Guess what guys!

I got engaged yesterday!  I said yes and I'm so excited!!!  Its been fast moving for sure, but when you know, you know!!  I'm still flying and my head is swirling for sure!  He gave me a beautiful princess-cut diamond ring on one knee by the lake near the college I work at....I cried many tears of joy!  I've been running around since the proposal, but I definitely wanted to share with my OH family!

oh Jenn,

What incredible news!!! I am so happy for you.

I remember when we met, you were testing the dating waters. You certainly did great.

I was a first time bride at 47. We married a year after we met. I found the book, "Weddings for Grownups" to be very helpful.

best wishes!!!!!!

Thanks everyone!  Its been such a joyous yet overwhelming experience so far...We're moving in together March 1st (this had been planned) so we need to get through that first and then decide when to tie the knot...Likely next year sometime!

Congratulations to you both!!

I remarried for the second time at 46 and it was nice to be mature and plan the wedding that we wanted.  It was a nice quiet ceremony with our immediate family and a a few firends by a beautiful koi pond in Chatham followed by a lovely luncheon of the most awesome lobster rolls (evah) at the Wequassett Inn.
