Hi Jayne,
Seven lbs of it came off over night. I hope the other six comes off tonight! LOL. Although Dr. Partridge pushed the fluids on me even though it wasn't necessary, but she did it anyway knowing my history of not getting in enough fluids. I came home with my fingers like stuffed sausages. I could barely bend them! My belly button is so sore. All the other incisions are healing just fine, but the belly button really hurts. Trying not to bend too much, but this cough is killing me.

Hi Beth,
I am feeling better. I can eat without pain again. My belly button is still sore. If it's still sore come Tuesday I'm going to have it checked out. A lot of the problem is probably me doing too much. It's kinda hard not to having four kids and a daycare. I am doing my best to rest as much as possible.
How was the walk? I really wish I could have gone. Are you going to make this an annual thing?

Hi, I had band surgery last Monday and the same thing happened to me when I got home. I gained about 10 in the hospital and took off 7 overnight. Glad to see I wasnt the only one. I was severely dehydrated and they pumped me with fluids so I was puffy to say the least. Good luck to you!

Lunenburg huh! I'm in the next town over...the good 'ol burg! LOL
As of this morning I have taken all 13 lbs off plus an additional .2 oz. So YAY!!!!
Good luck to you too with your band. I hope all goes well. I'm still struggling with hernia surgery. My RNY surgery didn't hurt for days like this one is. I feel like my lower belly is all bruised even though there is no visible bruising. I'm calling my surgeon on Tuesday (that'll mark one week) if I'm not feeling better.
