First congrats on your surgery! and yes it is normal to feel that way, to "gain" and then loose it is all part of this process. Remember your body is going through an adaptation mode right now. You are not eating the amount of food you used to and your body is going to fight back. So keep on going, doing the right thing and don't think too much about the weigh lost. It will come off, some people loose very quickly and others take a little bit more time but you will see the difference.
I know how you feel, I am 4 years post-op and I have been through pretty much everything, I told another member here that this is like a roller coaster ride; it has ups and downs but I am sure you made the right decision to have the surgery. Good Luck!
