Now a loser!
I survived! I had my surgery Tuesday, I came home today. I feel great. A little/lot bloated, but walked a lot at the hospital (3:30 am even). I have some pain, but not bad (she removed my gallbladder as well). Ran a slight fever so I am on a antibiotic. YEAH! I feel better than I thought.
Carol...how did you do?

Everything was excellent. No issues for me. I too went in on Tuesday and came home this afternoon. It sure was nice to take a nap in my own bed with no monitors beeping. I was doing laps around my floor too. I did 1 lap the first night, 10 laps last night and had started working towards 12 today when they said, pack it up...your free to escape !!! You should have seen the smoke coming off my heals !!! j/k NWH was excellent. The staff was so attentive and kind. I have never had such a pleasant hospital stay in all my life.
The pain pills are my friend. If I don't stay ontop of the dosages and get them in before they start wearing off, I do get very uncomfortable. Taking a shower today was pure bliss though !!!

Congrats and best wishes to both of you...I realized this afternoon that it was a year for me today. I am so pleased with teh results and wish I had done this ten years earlier! Keep on moving and enjoy the changes.
