I officially never have to see a 3 before my weight again
I officially never have to see a 3 before my weight again. My my that is such an amazing feeling. Every time I have dropped bellow 300 I've obviously gained it back. For the first time I feel like that won't happen. I feel like food doesn't control me anymore.
I know what made me get back up to that weight and need to avoid doing things i know are wrong. But i actually have a tool to help me not do that again!
My starting weight at my initial consultation was 355 :( i was so sick of myself. my pre surgery weight was 334. Today i'm 299. I had surgery on 7/24 at newton wellsley with dr. Gazmuri.
I used to hate going anywhere cause i felt like everyone was staring at me. Especially if it was a food establishment. Now I just don't care. I know i'm doing something for myself to better myself; and I know I don't look like I used to even if I still have a hard time seeing it. My clothes do feel a little different (sadly i do think i need new bras ) :( lol.
Nothing i have done in my life has made me feel as good about myself before. (obviously having my kids and getting marriend make me very happy i'm just refering to personal choices to do this or that.)
okay enough blabering just had to share with people that would understand how strongly i'm feeling! oh wait one more thing. I think i'm gonna dress up with the kids for halloweed this year and actually fit in a costume!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you. You should be proud of yourself. I lost 110 lbs maybe over. I am more happy than ever I been.
I love Dr. Gamurzi He is now my doctor. I had Dr. Sta Ana but he relocated out of state. I had my surgery almost a year ago. Nov 19, 07. My starting weigh was 270lbs and my surgery was 248. Now I am at 158lbs.

Katie, I understand one million % what you are feeling about being under 300 lbs.. it is a great feeling!... one of the happiest days of my life was getting to 299lbs... just wait until you hit 199!!.. it is fabulous!.. I wish you all the best and congrats !!!

Holy crap! This happened to me a few weeks ago and when I saw that 2 in front of my weight, I cried!! Congrats to you!! I so know how you feel!
