please don't be angry and think someone is lying when they say that they have no pain . you have to realize that the perception of someones pain CAN be very different from your own. you sound like you are miserable with it and i feel bad that you are in such pain. however, i had my surgery last monday, and my experience hasn't been anything you described in your post. i came home on thursday without any pain med or tylenol. On Sunday, i was feeling well enough to go shopping with my daughter and hubby for college. i took a nap when i got home and felt good. i have taken it easy so that i recover well. please don't discount or put anyone down when they say they have had little to no pain. each person is different and the tolerance to pain is very different depending on the person. Hopefuldee was expressing concern over your wellbeing in voicing if there was something wrong. I don't believe she meant any harm by it. so please don't be angry at her comment. Certainly you prepare for an incredible amount of pain after a major surgery like this, but not everyone experiences it to the degree you are experiencing. I know your recovery will continue to get better each day though and I think all of us on this message board look forward to hearing good reports of your progress!!
