Hi Nicole, How are you I hope all is well, im glad i could be of some help to you...i have a website you may want to check out for some more information to help you decide...its www.lapbandtalk.com go to the forum section and look under "Lap Band Complications" I believe you will find it very informative.. Also, what kind of insurance do you have? I have Tufts and they would have paid for either surgery Band or bypass. They also required me to be on a 6 month program but not to lose 60lbs that seems a little extreme..dont worry sometimes it seems like a long road to get there but it will happen for you...and i'd be lying if i said i wasnt scared when it came down to having my Bypass surgery because especially knowing I am the only one parent for my daughter...i was really scared but i figured i only had one shot at this so i better pick what was best for me and her...in the end everything will work out for you.
