1 week!

Just did all my pre-op testing and keeping my fingers crossed that it's a GO! Has anyone ever had their surgery cancelled for any reason after pre-op testing? I'm perfectly healthy, just fat..lol

my surgery was almost postponed the actual day of surgery due to earlier delays.  I was scheduled for 3, and at 5 they were ready to cancel the surgery. Another operating room and anethesiologist familiar with Bariatrics freed up as I was literally retrieving my bags and walking out the hospital preop area.  That was close.

Mine got cancelled because my surgeon ended up needing surgery on his hand.  I was like OMG this sucks but I want his hands to be fine to do my surgery lol.  My original surgery was supposed to be in Nov. 03 and I had it in 4/04.  It was really hard to stay focused but now looking back it was just a bump in my journey.  I hope everything goes well for you.
