It's been two months to the day and the scale finally moved!  It didn't move much, but it moved .6 oz  I'll take a little more than a 1/2 pound.  I've been so frustrated with this stall.  I hope it continues to move now.

Kendra...I hope your stall is almost overwith.

You look fabulous and are an inspiration to me.

Hi Kim, Thank you so much.  I hope it's overwith too.  Even though I didn't lose any weight over the past two months, I did lose inches, but I still like to see that scale go down.  It can be frustrating, especially when people tell me not to lose anymore.  They say I look "perfect".  Well, those people don't see me naked.  My clothes do a pretty good job at hiding some of my 'problem' areas.  I still have some work to do.  Don't know if I'll ever be completely satisfied, but so far I'm pleased with my progress thus far.  Just when I thought a one or two week stall was tough I hit the dreaded two month stall.   I spoke with my one of the nurses yesterday at my surgeon's office and she says it has a lot to do with the stress in my life right now, but not to fret because I'm not done and I will continue to lose for at least another 6-8 months, just at a much slower pace.  Patience is a very difficult thing sometimes.

Kendra.. You seem to be on top of things are truly realize the components of this stall.  Your progress is wonderful and again you definately inspire me. I have been following your threads often on here ( i guess i consider myself somewhat of a lurker) and they always seem to be very positive, very upbeat and very supportive.  I commend you for that because after reading some of the stuff on here its kind of discouraging, very Jerry Springer. Do you subscribe to the OH magazine..and if so, what do you think of it? k.

Hi Kim, Thank you so much and it's nice to know that I inspire someone.  I try to stay positive most of the time.  I do have my days though as I am going through some issues right now and with the help of my PCP I'm hoping to get through them. I honestly have never seen an OH magazine, but if it's anything like the website, it must be good.  I love this website and I'm on it several times a day. Take Care,

Kendra - I know how you feel.  I hit the 100 lb loss and have been stuck here for almost 1-1/2 months (and I'm only 7 months out since surgery).  Being discouraged and frustrated is normal although hard to accept.  I finally told myself that whether I lose or stay the same IT IS BETTER THAN A GAIN !  I think our bodies keep going through so much that it's just taking a little bit of a detour and slowing down and getting reacquainted.  You have done so great and you look absolutely wonderful and beautiful ! Hi Carol, Thank you so much for your kind words. I do agree it's better than a gain but nonetheless frustrating.  Congratulations on your weight loss thus far.  7 months and 100 lbs!  That's fantastic!!!

I'm happy for you. I know what a mental struggle this WLS surgery can be. I can the scale moved in the right direction. But don't dismiss your body shrinking...that counts as well and certainly makes your clothes feel better! Joan

Thank you very much.  I do take into consideration the inches lost but I still like to see the scale move.
