So here's my recap to our awesome time yesterday.   :)   We had a smaller group than anticipated but we all had such a great time getting to know each other.  (sometimes 'smaller' is better!!)     We also had *plenty* of really good food!

The husbands and kids were a joy to meet and have around.   The kids seemed to absolutely love the beach opportunity.   KS4's daughter found a turtle down in the water and captured it for all to see! ..

Discovery and KS you sooo owe us recipes!! :)      Feel free to post them here if you'd like.

Everyone who took pictures - I'd love it if you could post a few to the thread.   Thanks for posting yours Jayner -- great pic!!! :)

Best news of all, we pretty much decided that we'd love to do this again!! ... Right now the tenative date is July 26th - Saturday - in the Waltham, MA area.    NotCasey's mother has an inground pool in the Waltham area so once we have the confirmation that it's okay to use -- we're having a pool party!  WOO-HOO!!!! :)

To all that came yesterday, brought food, and helped out.    Thank you!!!   It was so fun to meet you all.   What a great time!

It was so nice meeting everyone!  I'm glad I dragged my husband along to tend to my children so I could stay up and chat with everyone instead of running after all my little ones.  I can't wait to do this again!  Here are the photos I have, and a correction to Zaudica's post...it was my daughter that caught the turtle. So here's my recipe...Problem is I don't have any measurements (I'll give you my best guess).  I just shake until I thinks it's enough.  LOL Kendra's Kielbasa (2) Kielbasa (I use Healthy Ones Polska Kielbasa w/2.5g of fat, 7g protein) (1) Softball sized Vidalia Onion (1) Large Red Pepper Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic Pepper Butter (I use Promise Light) Use a large square of tin foil.  Dice up your kielbasa, onion and pepper into bite size pieces.  Place everything onto the tin foil square.  Shake some pepper on.  (I use a pepper grinder and turn it about 15 times).  Shake a bunch of garlic garlic on (to your taste) and add a small dollup of butter.  Fold it up into a pouch then add a few tablespoon of water.  Toss on the grill until veggies are tender. For the batch that I made at the outing, I used four rings of kielbasa, two onions, four peppers, about 1/4 cup butter, 40 cranks of the pepper mill and about 4 tbs of garlic garlic.  So glad you all enjoyed it!

Hi guys! Thanks again for organizing the event...I had fun being able to meet you all face-to-face! Here is the cheesecake recipe: 2 8oz packages of FF cream cheese 2 Eggs (I use 1/2 C of egg beaters) 1/2 C Splenda 1 tsp vanilla Keebler reduced fat pie crust (you can certainly make your own) OPTIONAL:  2 tblsp SF strawberry jelly, 2 tblspn SF/FF pudding mix (you can finagle with this...don't put in the jelly, but add in some chocolate pudding to make it a chocolate cheesecake instead) Soften cheese...Blend in eggs one at a time...(I use my electric mixer)...Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes depending on your oven.  Let cool completely.  Refrigerate at least 4 hours...Garnish as desired. Thanks to my friend Sherri...She gave me this recipe and I finagled a bit!
