No More Funny Girl

My best friend asked me yesterday if I was still going to be funny when I'm skinny. I don't know why I wouldn't be, although I was always the funny "fat" friend lol who pokes fun at herself and everyone else I'm not concerned, I've always been just me, happy me...yes, overweight and happy. Lot's of friends, steady boyfriends, and loved the club scene. I was never the wallflower, always outgoing and everyone loves me It's just my time to be healthy for myself.

From what I've heard from supporters on this site and in the support group, is that people are jealous towards your weight loss and might see you differently because of your size. What matters is that you are happy. Always be yourself and whoever wants to follow you on that journey will and whoever doesn't...isn't worth your time!! You will always be the funny and happy as long as you consider yourself funny and happy!!

You are right, being healthy is for you...not for others! So focus on yourself!! Good luck!
