Blended Diet

Hello.  I am 2-1/2 weeks out and still on the blended diet.  I go for diet advancement on the 26th.  I sooooo miss chewing.  I've strayed away from the blended diet a bit and just made sure that I chew really, really well.  It hasn't seemed to bother me, but I was wondering if anyone else has done this. The blended diet is the pits! I'd advise against straying from it because you don't want to risk hurting yourself.  My best advice is to try and find some things to help mix it up so you don't lose your mind.  One of my staples was tomato sauce (from a can, no sugar or seeds) and ricotta cheese.  I also blended some meat and put that with sauce...it seemed more like real food to me.  Good luck...another week and a half...you can do it!

That's probably what I need, new ideas.  I'm so tired of carnation instant breakfast, yogurt, cottage cheese and apple sauce.  Today I've done well so far, but dinner is still up in the air. Kendra
