So Yesterday I had my day full of testing. I just wanted to let everyone know how easy/smooth the day went!!  If you want all the details...read my profile, but every single professional I meet at QMC was so helpful! I got all my tests done in one day and with no delay, I went from one appointment to the next. It was just so great (as far as poking and proding can go!).  I know there are a lot of pre-ops here who don't post so I just wanted to let you know that going through QMC to see Dr. Hess/Dr. Birch is awesome...definitely highly recommended!! So now I have a few more appointments coming up I can't wait hopefully the rest of the testing will go as smoothly as yesterday went!!!

Hi there, Yes, they are very efficient at QMC.  Unfortunately, the pre-op appointments at BMC, (outside of the efficienncy of dear Dr. Hess' office), leave you waiting for hours for their under-staffed folks, who are all very nice,too - once you get to see them, so bring a good, thick novel along and prepare for a long wait. Not as much poking or prodding there, but lots of forms and questions.  Good to have printed several copies of your medications/dosages - they really appreciated it when I was able to hand them mine.  It was all worth it, though - in fact I hadn't even thought about until I read your post. Personally, I think you have the best doctor in the world !!!  Dr. Hess is wonderful !! He did my surgery last last august.  22nd will be my one year surgiversary, and I am down 120 pounds.. He is incredible and I did not have one single problem post surgery... Good luck

haha I know this is coming a little late, but I totally agree!! He is awesome so far...and you can usually tell a doctor by his staff and his staff is amazing also.  Congrats on your weight loss thats amazing!!! Meg
