consult complete, I've started the journey!!!!!!

Well,  I saw Dr. Hess today and he was great!!   I went with my DH and he is very impressed with Dr. Hess.  I am definetly going with the RNY because of Reflux problems.  That is the surgery I wanted.   I'm finally on my way to the losing side.!    I also found out from Dr. Hess that they are hiring the new nut. for QMC..,  He stated that she is excellent.  She is originally from the B&W program.  Anyways, he stated that they will be having the support group next Monday.   Hope to meet anyone from this board.  Take care everyone!!!!! HEY SUSAN L.,                    I'VE HAD DR. HESS AS MY SURGEON. I WORK AT QMC AND HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEE ING DR. HESS AND HIS PATIENT DO AWSOME. SO FAR THEY DON'T DO THE WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY AT QMC JUST BMC.  I AM THINKING OF GOING TO THE NEXT SUPPORT GROUP MONDAY.  I HAD THE LAP BAND ON 4/3 AND SO FAR I HAVE LOST ALMOST 30 LBS. Hi Actually the new dietitian is originally from the Deaconess Hospital, or BIDMC. I am the former Dr. Hess dietitian who was from Brigham and Womens. (just want to clarify in case people think Im back) I will be doing the support group on Monday so  I will see you there! Natalie

Hi No problem! I LOVE Dr. Hess. He is wonderful, great to work with. I just realized I outed myself when I emailed you, but who cares. I was sad to leave but I changed careers, so it was inevitable. He is a great surgeon and I would definately have him operate on me or any of my family. Good luck! Nat

Hey Everyone!!! I am also having my RNY with Dr. Hess. I have to wait to have my appts until August because I have an internship for the summer but I am very excited! I think I am going to try to go to the Support Group on Monday because I am working early! I am very happy to finally be able to go...the time is 6:00 right?? Or am I getting my times mixed up.  Good luck! So happy to see some more Dr. Hess patients on here. ~Meg
