Hi....Looking for support

HI!  I'm Nancy, 39, from Billerica.  My surgery is scheduled for 7/2/07 at Winchester Hospital. (5 weeks from today)  I would like to talk with people who have been thru it, or are getting ready to go thru it like me.  I'm 100% comfortable with my  decision to have wls, but I have so many mixed emotions, and no one who understands them.  If anyone feels the same, and would like to talk, or needs someone to talk to send me a message here or my email is [email protected].  I'm so happy I have found this website! Hi Nancy,  My name is Marianne and I had my surgery almost 3 months ago and I felt the exact same way....I kept questioning my decission even up until I was ready to go in.  After my surgery I was very hormonal and  cried for about a week but let me inform you of something...with all that said I have now lost 52lbs and I feel awesome!  I do not regret doing this surgery at all and I have so much confidence in my self and so much more self confidence, I smile much more but most importantly I feel healthy and have so much more energy.  Its very natural to be scared or nervouse or have doubts but just know that we all did and you are not alone. Hey there Nancy...congratulations on your decision to improve your life and health...my emotions were not mixed...I was 100% comfortable with my decision...when I found out that my sugar levels were up there was not doubt about it....I was not really emotional and I have not cried one day since my surgery...dont get me wrong...sometimes I was scared...but I gave that fear to GOD!!! as long as I knew he was in my corner...I was fine...Dr. Ameri is the best surgeon and his staff is very professional and helpful...they I had my surgery on March 6th of 2006 if you want anymore details message me here and I will email you back....Winchester Hospital is the best hospital...I  would not go anywhere else for any of my medical surgical needs...they are very helpful, courteous, and professional..and the staff is kind..
