Hi everyone, My name is Susan and I was on OH a few years ago. I was afraid and backed out. I now regret this because I have gained more weight. But I feel it was for the best. I have a new surgeon, I like his program better and really like his personality. I got to meet him before my intial appt. due to my sister. She is post op a few years and looks great. I hope I'll look half as good as she does, but my biggest concern is my health. I am 11 years older than she is and lot more overweight (BMI close to 50!!!). As they say, I'm "sick and tired of being sick and tired" ! My question is, does anyone know when the support group is for Dr Hess at QMC? Thanks in advance!! Hi Susan, I will be interested to see when his support group is because I have my intiial consult with Dr. Burch (Dr. Hess' partner) next week and I was wondering the same thing. Good luck and maybe we will meet some day soon. Kelley

Hi Kelley, Are you seeing Dr. Burch in Boston or at Quincy? The support group in Boston is on Thursday twice monthly. I know this from my sister. Quincy is a different schedule. I'm going to call them probably tommorow to find out when. I'm coming from RI, so Quincy is more convenient for me. Good luck with your appointment. Let me know how it turns out. Susan L.
