HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

I have my "information session" with Dr Lautz at the Brigham on 2/27.....I want to have lap band surgery in late May/early June. Does this time line sound reasonable? ....Sean

Hi there I just had my surgery at BI/Deaconess. I went to my first information session before Thanksgiving. If you keep all your appointments you should be okay. It is a long process and I was a little ticked at first that it took so long, but it was really great to get my head ready for this. Good Luck

Hello, I had my first office visit with Dr. Lautz on Feb. 1st and my surgery date of April 2nd was given to me at that time. Elaine the office manager gave to me all of the preop appts. that same day also. I had gone before Christmas to one of the weight loss lectures in Carrie hall with a friend who is also having gastric bypass and her surgery is March 12th. Hope that helps!!! carolanne
