Home and doing well!

My name is Vinnie, my surgery is in a couple of weeks. I start my pre surgery liquid diet on Sun,and am scheduled for surgery on the 22nd. I'm a bit nervous and not sure what to expect. My quest started(7 months ago) I was really looking at by-pass surgery and recently had a change in the tought process. I'm nervous and excited, wish I was 6 months on the other side. Can you give a little insite to what I should expect about the day and maybe several days out..Thanks Vinnie

Congrats. I had mine Thursday and got home today. The gas pains are really tough at first. Gas Ex helped out but mostly sitting on the toilet and just letting them rip is the best right now I think. I had a drain in till last night and I guess if they feel it's nessecary they'll send you home with it (for the person who was asking)
