Blue Cross Blue Sheild of NE

Does anyone have this insurance and did u have any trouble being approved???... Im in the process of having surgery and my husbands company decided to change plans on the first of january... just wondering if this will be an easy approval or not... if anyone has gone through this insuance or is going through it.... thank you Katie

I have HMO Blue NE and my approval was also very quick & easy. My understanding is that BCBS is pretty easy provided your BMI is at least 40 (mine was 40.1). If your BMI is between 35 - 40, then they have additional requirements of having to have certain co-morbidities, but they are very helpful if you call.

hi. i have bcbs hmo and i was approved in about a week,. it would probably have been sooner if the dr.'s office sent out my paperwork earlier. they're the best.
