Post-op port pain

How long does the pain last in the port area after surgery? I am 12 days post op now.

Are you refering to the drains? If so I only had pain when they work ready to be taken out. Call your doctor.

It is just still sore where they put the port. I still have the bandage there too. What are the drains? Thanks for your help. When did you have your surgery?
