I created an account just to thank you.
I stumbled upon this site and read your response, and decided to use it on my bellybuttom and behind my ears. For DECADES, I've had a sweaty smell from both places, even shortly after taking a shower. I would use scented hand sanitizer, but it only worked for a few hours. I tried the vinegar, and was shocked that the smell was gone and doesn't come back all day Thank you so much.
I am 12 years post op and have had great success with my band up until a few months ago. After doing some research, I think my band may have slipped. I'm experiencing heartburn, vomiting & restriction. I have an appointment with my Doctor on July 22. The last couple of weeks I have been having this weird feeling around my port area. It's hard to explain...it feels like it is moving, I feel "fluttering" all the time when I move. Is it possible that my port has come unattached or loose? Please tell me someone else has experienced this?

let me know how you made out, I had my surgery in 2008 and lost 170 lbs from 360 lbs ....my band was holding 9ccs and I was continuing to lose weight and with new eating habits and food intake amount had to have band emptied to gain some weight back, well its been 18 months since then and gained back 70 lbs and am miserable, and having a lot of trouble getting a fill, Drs. tell me time to have the band removed and go with the sleeve my primary care says to dangerous ...so I am looking for a fill
I considered myself a band failure also. I had band surgery in April 2009, it took me 3 years to lose 30 pounds. Along the way I had a lot of restriction problems and my surgeon thought it slipped a few different times but thankfully it had not. After I changed jobs to a more sedentary position....you guessed it the weight ALL came back. I exercised 4-5 days weekly, ate smaller portions and almost eliminated simple carbs, but never lost more than 15lbs additionally. I experienced severe heartburn, vomiting (sometimes with blood) and "sleep" vomits to name a few issues. On 4/26/21 I got the band removed along with subsequent scar tissue and had laparoscopic gastric sleeve. I'm still healing obviously but I don't regret it. BTW I've already lost 5lbs.

Hmm .. Interesting situation, you can provide more details about it. My friend also faced a similar problem and is now looking for good specialists who can help him. We have used various sources of information, but we have unique search criteria, so we are still looking for help. I think this is a common problem, since I have seen several more similar cases. Perhaps you should pay attention to https://www.iinsight.biz/, which provides information about specialists providing their medical services. Perhaps one of the specialists on this list can help you solve your problem!
Paying for the doctor yourself is very expensive, be careful!
Thank you! This is my exact size and what I want to be. I am waiting on insurance approval. My doctor said that she would remove at least 700g from each breast. I so hope its covered! I cannot wait to go braless! I was a DD when I graduated high school. Its time! Working on losing weight but its slow going. She encouraged me to have the surgery and then focus on it. Lose what I can but not make that a prerequisite. Thanks again!!
I got my band in 2009. I am in the same boat as far as using my band, I can eat anything as long as I chew it enough. I tried Keto and lost about 25 pounds then nothing. My diabetes numbers were great so I stuck with it for 2 years but fell off with the start of the pandemic. I did intermittent fasting (12 hours) but not to the degree you do. I was afraid of fasting because I am a T1 diabetic. I will have a look at some of the resources you mentioned.
When my band slipped I would not be able to eat without throwing up. The band was half-emptied 3 times and each time I got close to restriction I would start vomiting. I think this year of vomiting and living on fluids messed up my metabolism and now I gain weight on anything over 1200 calories. I am now just 20 pounds less than when I started this crazy journey.
