I am sorry you had such an awful experience. For you to be kicked out because of lap band surgery was ridiculous. I think the leader sucks. I have heard WW is anti-weight loss surgery so I haven't said anything. To say it's an unfair advantage is crazy too, it's supposed to be about support, not a competition! Not only that, but we all know surgery is no quick fix. It still takes lots of hard work and a commitment.
I joined WW for the support. Lost 10 lbs in the first week and the facilitor scolded me for starving myself. I admitted that I had a LapBand and that was probably what helped me. She then told me I was not welcome there and for me to leave and not return. She said they would never celebrate my losses because I had an unfair advantage over the others in the meetings. I never returned.

Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
I lost 271 lbs with my Lapband in 2 years and 3 years after that I revised to the Sleeve. I love it. IT helped me lose another 140 lbs. Revisioners lose a little slower than virgin sleeves, because we are already used to eating such small portions. Just stick with your rules of protein first and move your body and you'll get there!

Do what you can tolerate. Don't push yourself. Drink slow and small sips to reach what your surgeon requires. Move as you are able. Anesthesia can sometimes set you back -- it always did me.

It's totally up to you. There are no rules. My surgeon said the less tight it is, the less complications you'll have. I never had an unfill and only had 4.9ml in my 14ml band after 5 years when I revised to the Sleeve. If you're happy and not having reflux issues, able to eat and not gain weight, keep it where it is. BE happy it's not causing issues and enjoy your new healthy body.

The I agree with the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" The less you mess with it the less you will mess it up.
I remember you too!! I think you will like your sleeve most folks do! Happy revision day!
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." If you're happy and doing fine, just let it ride.
Good Luck with your revision. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
