What's your Ideal Size?

I'm 5'11" and if I had plastic surgery, I think I'd be at my ideal size. I'm a size 8 and I actually feel fine in that size, just wish I didn't have the excess skin, but thats life for now!

Right now I don't really have any size goals (other than to maintain). Currently my goals are more around fitness and strength training.

Buckeye girl, you are tall and thin! I am impressed. I am 5'8" and can't imagine being that small. Way to go! I am with you on the skin thing. Will have to win the lottery to get all the work done that I would like!

At 54 years old, I am completely content to be in my current size -- I am wearing a size 8 Lee jeans today.

I am much more confident and comfortable since my abdominoplasty --- no more muffin top!!

I go between an 8 and 10 in slacks, a S/M in shirts and blouses.

I doubt that I will ever be smaller than this -- because my thighs are what they are -- and I am not going to pursue plastic surgery on them.  I am finished with non-essential surgeries.

I would like to drop 5-8 pounds because I seem to be skating too close to my Weigh****cher's goal weight for my comfort.

But even at this weight -- I am happy and proud that I reached my goal and have maintained it within 5 pounds for over 2 years.

This is the Flatbush Avenue side of Prospect Park (Park Slope).  Once you are in there are tons of trees, flowers, paths, fountains, ice-skating rink, merry-go-round, pond, ducks, waterfall, so many different birds etc.  It really is a beauty - I think it is prettier than Central Park.  The main path is 3.5 miles but their are many more wooded paths.  And about 1/2 way in through this entrance you can exit out to "Flatbush" the neighborhood.  Don't know if you heard about the new Nets Arena but it no more than 10 blocks away from here.  The in blocks are so pretty - mostly brownstones.  You would never think at the end of the blocks is busy Flatbush Avenue.

Half of my family is from Long Island too - Long Island Natives (Shinne****s).

Don know where you are at, but you should come back to NY and visit.

Size 8/10 is good too.

Best,

Layla

I want to lose about 12 more pounds. Size 12 would be fine for me! I am 5ft 6" and want to get to 175. THEN.. think about another 10 pounds but.. no hurry on that. See my mind says get to 175 and see if you really want to lose another 10, or will you look sick?

My face seems to be getting smaller with every pound and I don't want to look sick. LOL

I have been doing 4-6 miles on the treadmill when last week I did 4.6 and after getting upstairs had a massive pain in the side of my head and got dizzy. I have not been on the treadmill since. I am guessing though that I just did not cool down enough. I love my miles and need a kick in the butt to get back on there so I am ready for my first 5k in March.

Since I have stopped using the treadmill I have seen the scale creep up a little bit. ugh. I can't wait for spring so I can get outside. The temperatures in RI are bone chilling lol

I got down to a tight 4...but it was too small for me...I am back at about 8-10 but want to be 6-8 after I finally get skin surgeries and all...so I need to tone a bit more. (in my spare time lol)

...just keep swimming,

I am a work in progress...perhaps never completed or perfected; but forever working to change for the better...
