Basics of carb cycling?
Hi,
I am wondering about carb cycling. I know the basic idea is you increase your metabolism by alternating high carb days with med. and low carb days. Does anyone know specifics such as carb count for each phase- fat grams, calories. How do you know when to switch phases? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I carb cycle.
Complex carbs only, no carb limit but first meal and first snack of day
No carbs after noon meal
4th day and 7th day of week are carb days
20 gms or less carbs on days 1-3, 5,6
One day a week, freebie meal.
No calorie or fat restriction
100 to 120 gms of protein a day
Workout 6 days a week, alternate cardio and upper - lower weight training
I have lost 323 lbs
