What are you eating today (Monday) or yesterday?

Good morning, I think.

The wild pork we had yesterday was just barely edible. It didn't taste bad, but it was far too dry for me to eat or for my husband to enjoy. I hope that puts an end to our wild pork experiments. I'm game (pun intended) to try just about any cooking experiment, but I resent spending a lot of time on cooking something that no one can enjoy.

The cherry compote I made (using frozen cherries from our own trees) came out awesome, so that made up some for what the pork lacked.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: oatmeal w/ applesauce & walnuts
S: banana w/ peanut butter
L: leftover beef & Brussels sprouts
S: apple & Havarti cheese
S: raw baby carrots
D: leftover chicken & cherry compote
S: cinnamon walnut breakfast cookie

I have to work tonight and plan to spend the day trying to turn Bandwagon into an e-book. It's something that lots of people have asked me to do in the past few years. I've been told that the conversion will be difficult because the book has so many charts, lists, diagrams, photos, etc, but now that holiday shopping madness is past, I'm ready to give it a try. Pray for me, OK? I'm techno-challenged.

This morning's exercise will be the high-intensity cardio/interval training class that almost killed me a few weeks ago.

Have a splendid day!

Jean

Just an update on my dating life lol- coffee date went really well.  We had some things in common and talked for almost 2 hours.  I hope I hear from him again soon.  Of course he said I would, but you never know...

Well, that sounds promising. If you had things in common and talked for almost 2 hours, it couldn't have been a complete waste of time!

Thanks Jean.  No it wasn't a waste of time at all, I liked him. He has weight issues himself, but is doing great.  I think he could be a good motivation for me.  Hope to hear from him tomorrow.  I am glad you are keeping up with this post.
