MONDAY GRATEFUL POST

Good Monday Christmas Eve Everyone,

We ALL have so much in our lives to be grateful for.   In this Christmas season I ask you to please share your gratefulness with others who maybe have a need.   For me and my family tomorrow sometime on Christmas Day we will be going to Teen Challenge and taking "goodies" and spending a little time with the men there and letting them know that we care.   For anyone who is not familiar with the Teen Challenge program...it is a faith based substance recovery program.   They take in Teens 13 yrs and up to 65 yrs old both men and woman along with teens.    The facility that we are going to is a men's facility.   Last year this time my middle son was there.   There are LOTS of men there from other states and will not be having any physical contact with their families.    I go every week to their thursday night chapel.    Last week one of the men ( about 21 yrs. old ) was about to cry because this is the first Christmas EVER away from his family.   These precious men are there to overcome their addiction from drugs and/ or alcohol.    They go into there voluntentary and the program lasts from 12 to 24 months.    SO we are chosing to bless these guys    I am so grateful for this program that totally transforms lives of the people addicted to drugs and alcohol.    PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today and have a Merry Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
