What are you eating today (Wednesday) or yesterday?
Good morning. Today starts the home stretch of holiday shopping madness, and because of my work schedule, I won't be able to do this thread again until December 26th. I hope someone else will fill in for me.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: soft boiled egg
S: banana w/ peanut butter
L: leftover meatloaf, turnip, & green beans
S: trail mix
S: PB Thins crackers
D: leftover chicken, Brussels sprouts & sweet potato
S: peanut butter banana chips
This morning's exercise will be a butts & guts class. Sadly, my last workout until December 26th.
Yesterday I made a batch of chocolate cookies for a friend who adores chocolate but lives alone and rarely cooks or bakes for herself. Chocolate has always been one of my favorite things too. They smelled wonderful so I treated myself to one still-warm cookie. It didn't make me dump, but much to my surprise, it tasted way too sweet! Kind of a bittersweet discovery.

I know exactly what you mean. I recently made chocolate chip cookies too and had to cut down on the sugar and I didn't even use the full amt to begin with so I increased the chips and decreased the sugar and that seemed to work.
B-Fage yogurt w/ cashews
S-Oatmeal and cranberry "cookie"
L-Turkey salad, veggie soup, crackers
S-Sliced cucumbers and carrots w/ LF ranch dressing
D-Chicken patty w/ sliced pickle (skin removed), steamed spinach, chickpea salad
B: cornflakes (almost out, this will eventually change lol), milk, and low sodium vegetable juice. tastes like v8 less calories and about two bucks less a jug. handy since i'm sadly sans juicer and can't convince anyone to buy me one for christmas, nor could i convince them to buy one as a wedding gift xD
S: reduced fat whole wheat crackers with hummus
L: tuna salad over romaine
S: leftover chicken marsala
D: grilled chicken and mushrooms, steamed veggies of some sort
S: protein fruit smoothie
Exercise: laps and bikes since my community center is between sessions again. i can't sign up for water exercise classes yet which is frustrating because i have to see what my school class schedule is going to be. i won't know that until i complete the orientation they're making me do in the middle of january as a transfer which requires me to traipse all over the huge campus. terror of slipping and falling on icy sidewalks is pretty high. :(
I was out finishing my Christmas shopping this morning. I just need 1 full day to stay home, now. Since last Thurs. I have been gone most of the time and I am whipped. Hubby had sinus surgery Mon. Tues. choir concert for granddaughter 1 and a quarter hours just to get there (also had been to her operetta Sun. where she had a large role. In addition to shopping I had 2 meetings. Tomorrow is results day at the testing center to see if hubby as alzheimers. Fri. the ENT. Thus far Sat. will be free.
