What are you eating today (Friday) or yesterday?
Good morning. I want to start today's thread by saying that I won't be able to start this thread tomorrow because of my work schedule. If anyone else wants to start the thread, please do.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: apple pie oatmeal w/ walnuts
S: scrambled egg beaters w/ spinach & mushrooms
L: leftover potato, cauliflower & crab soup
S: baby carrots
S: trail mix
D: Babybel cheese, red grapes
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
This morning's exercise class is called Cardio Blast. I'm glad to get back to the fitness studio (since I don't have to be at wor****il 3:15 pm), but I need to get me some more get-up-and-go in order to survive the Blast.
Have a lovely day!
Jean

B-Assorted nuts; Fage cherry yogurt
S-Oatmeal w/ walnuts
L-Turkey salad w/ crackers
S-carrots and celery sticks w/ ranch dressing
D-Broiled fish, 3 bean mix w/ LF cheese, steamed broccoli
S-Unjury protein chicken soup
Water throughout the day.
And to all those who've asked - Yes, I only drink water - "90%" of the time. I don't drink/eat anything w/ artificial sugar (never have), ie, the pink, blue, yellow packets, Crystal Light, diet soda, etc. (I haven't had soda or anything carbonated in 5 years). The other "10%" I'll make my own juice, have hot chocolate made w/ almond milk or something like that but it's mostly water. This works for me.
It was from scratch. It was good, but didn't taste much of crab.
I had made mashed potatoes & cauliflower a few days ago. I sauteed some chopped onion in a saucepan until translucent, added the leftover mash, a small can of crab meat, plus some chicken broth and some mil****il it was soupy but still quite thick (we like thick soup), added some tarragon, onion salt, and pepper, and heated it over medium low heat.
If I ever make it again, I'll try imitation crabmeat and/or some shrimp instead of canned crab.
