What are you eating today (Sunday) or yesterday?
Say a prayer for me today. I have today off, but tomorrow is the beginning of holiday shopping madness.
I'm glad to say that I made it through yesterday without any stuck episodes. I don't know if that's because the sleeved stomach isn't as easily irritated as the banded stomach, or because I ate mostly soft or pureed food yesterday.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: egg beaters w/ cottage cheese & cheddar cheese scrambled in it (tastes decadent to me)
S: Greek yogurt w/ a few blueberries
L: leftover veggy meatloaf w/ tomato sauce & polenta
S: raw sugar snap peas
S: Havarti cheese
D: garlic chicken, cornbread dressing, sliced tomatoes
S: popcorn
It's strange to be able to eat raw sugar snap peas but not Greek yogurt w/ fruit. I'm giving up on the yogurt for now. My work schedule is about to become far too crazy for me to risk dumping episodes.
Today I have to go food shopping and do a lot of food prep for meals later in the week. And maybe some housework. And definitely some dog cuddling.

Jean,
Prayers said.
I don't think our sleeved stomachs are any where near as easily irritated as the banded stomach. I haven't had any times where it carried into the next day. If I have a problem at dinner I know that I will need to watch what I eat in the evening and know that less will go down but other than that no carryover. As I adjust my eating better I am not having as many episodes, either. Who knows, maybe I will actually learn a lesson.
Yesterday I didn't eat much at all because I was a bit queasy all day. Today back to full on eating.
B. S.F. instant oatmeal with dried cranberries
S. Shake
L. Leftover seafood bake
S. Protein bar
D. Multi bean and grain soup with canned venison
S. Protein puffs

L: ten minute potato salad, grilled chicken, milk
S: fat free chocolate pudding
D: pork tenderloin with roasted carrots, and spinach, milk
S: hot chocolate with fluff
exercise: unsure. maybe i'll take a walk today.

yes i am
use the dill pickle to counter the nausea i get in the morning sometimes.
ten minute potato salad, is half a small potato peeled, quartered, with carrots, peeled and quartered. boiled for ten minutes with a bit of fresh cucumber halved and sliced, with a tablespoon of mayo, a teaspoon of vinegar, and a bit of sweet corn. all stirred together and sprinkled with a dash of sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.
Well, enjoy that pickle, but I'm not going to watch you eat it first thing in the morning.
My husband likes to make peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.
The ten minute potato salad sounds yummy. I'm going to try it.
