What are you eating today (Sunday) or yesterday?
A new week is here, ripe with possibilities for eating mistakes...or eating success. I know which possibility I'm going to focus on. What about you?
My food plan for today:
B: protein latte
S: oatmeal w/ peanut butter & walnuts
S: scrambled egg beaters w/ cheese & red peppers
L: leftover Buffalo chicken casserole & Brussels sprouts
S: trail mix
S: PB2 crackers, maybe some Greek yogurt (depending on how hungry I am)
D: black bean burger w/ tomato & avocado
S: peanut butter banana bar
I think I'm getting to the point where I need to resume weighing and measuring my food. After my VSG surgery, I could only eat a few bites at a time so measuring didn't seem important. Now I can eat about 1/2 cup at a time and it's hard to stop at that (unless I get a clear stop signal) because I'm so danged hungry every time I sit down to eat.
I have to work this afternoon. The store was hopping yesterday so I suspect I'll have plenty of straightening to do. I actually like doing that (a very mild OCD thing), except that I want to smack customers who come along behind me tearing apart whatever I just straightened. At times I feel like I've handled the same garments at least 50 times in one day. Unfortunately, that overexposure does little to mitigate my desire to buy and wear those garments.
Hope you're having a good weekend!
Jean

I have been looking to start tutoring K-3rd graders in my home. I finally have one starting tomorrow. I will be busy getting ready and have a lunch date with a friend. Ready for a good week! I joined a 6 week accountability thread as well- goal is to loose 12 pounds in that 6 weeks. Starts today and goes until 12/23.
B- eggs and lite sausage
S- LC protein shake
L- fish and vessies at Ruby Tuesday
S cheese
D- Pork loin and asperagus
S- 1/4c nuts
B: total cereal w/ 2% milk and low fat mozzarella stick
S: hummus and rice crackers
L: romaine and spinach salad with grilled chicken
S: protein bar
D: homemade teriyaki pork tenderloin marinade with steamed veggies
S: hot chocolate with fluff
I need to get back on the wagon. Not eating great the past two days and what I've been eating, I've been going too long between meals so I'm ravenous by the time I eat again and then I run the risk of eating too quickly and getting stuck. Not sure what I'll do for exercise today. Maybe I'll take a walk outside since it warmed up and all the snow is gone again.
No, we don't do "sales" or coupons or "buy one get one" any more. In February 2012 we started the "fair and square" pricing policy. That means we don't mark items up just to mark them down for a few hours or a few days. So a bra that cost $32 last year and was promoted at $25 now costs $20 every day. So you don't have to show up between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on November 12th during a full moon and present a coupon that expires in 15 minutes to get a low price. The bra is $25 every day no matter what the day or time or whatever.
