What are you eating today (Monday) or yesterday?

Good morning!

I had a lovely, relaxing day yesterday and since I don't have to work today, I have no reason to put off housecleaning. This house may be a glorified dog house, but at the least it can be a clean dog house. Or cleaner.

Yesterday I discovered that cornbread doesn't work much better for me with the sleeve than it did with the band. No great loss, but it could damage my reputation as a country gal. An OH member once called me a blank-blank hillbilly, which made me laugh because: (a) there are no hills in the Mississippi River valley and (b) I'm a transplanted Yankee. No way, no how, y'all, will any true Southerner ever admit that I'm one of them.

Anyway.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater w/ cheese
S: baked oatmeal w/ blueberruies & walnuts
L: leftover sausage, purple-hull peas, & a slice of tomato
S: popcorn
S: Havarti cheese
D: cashew curry shrimp salad on choppped raw kale, rice for my husband
S: peanut butter banana bar

I've been very cautious about trying popcorn since a sleever told me that the hulls could get lodged in my staple line, But another sleever says my staple line should be well healed by now, and the smell of popcorn when my husband makes a batch (air-popped ) tortures me. A little bit of popcorn tastes good (I lost my taste for it when I was banded), but I find myself automatically spitting out the chewy, husky bits that I used to gobble on down in my fat days. It's good to know that some good habits learned from WLS are that durable.

This morning is step aerobics class.

B: V8 and oatmeal
S: protein shake
L: egg beater burrito and homemade salsa
S: greek strawberry yogurt
D: chipotle crusted pork loin and spinach salad
S: probably the last caramel apple. would HATE to see that go to waste :)

Exercise: i've got my water exercises this afternoon. i think today to throw in a mix instead of swimming laps i'll go upstairs and get on the bikes.

Breakfast: weight control oatmeal & banana
lunch lettuce,tomato and 1 oz of protien-light dressing
snack- wheat stix and laughing cow cheese
dinner : steak baked sweet potato.
snack tonight- nonfat yogurt with berries.
drinking crystal light today and coffee.

can't wait for Tuesday next week.. I need a fill bad..
I know I should have had an egg for breakfast but oatmeal holds me well.

 Went to San Deigo for the weekend -  Just love that city.  So proud of myself.  Not 1 crappy carb passed these lips.  Another day down - another to go

E:  2 coffee's  

B:  2 eggs, 2 x Canadian Bacon, 6 cherry tomatoes

L:  Not that hungry  - Greek Yogurt??

S:   Almonds if needed

D:  Turkey burger &  veggies

Exercise:  7"30pm Zumba
 Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.
