Hi Kathi,

Just ran across your message; I also had the Lap Band surgery in 2015, and I am so ready to take it out. I lost over 60lbs, which in nice. However, I think is was mostly due to having to throw up. At one time I had him take all the fluid out, I couldn't take it anymore, so of course I gained some of my weight back. I did maintain for awhile before gaining any weight. I went back and had him gradually fill the port, and I am back at the point of throwing up. Just when I think I have figured out how to manage this band, food starts to get stuck. And don't even think about having breakfast. I am at the point that can only eat after hours, or if I drink a really sweet soda or juice.

I am either going to have it removed or have him drain the port, it so frustrating. Going out to dinner and not knowing if you will be able to eat, while everyone else is enjoying there meal. On some occasions, I have has episodes of getting something struck and having to run back and forth to the bathroom to throw up!

Were you successful in getting the Sleeve, how it working out for you?

Continued success on your weight loss!
