Excellent question! Although the cheerleaders *claim* that they are no longer on here b/c they are now off leading their happy, skinny lives, that doesn't seem to be true since you see so few successful,  long term bandsters IN REAL LIFE..........not just online! lol

 I bet there isnt many ..If no one wants to face the fact that the band is dangerous and long term is success is very slight then shame on them

Well I do see one listed that I know has had to have her band removed. They tried to reviser her but there was too much damage from the band to do that.

 I stay away more because I have a lot of stress in my life with my illness and my father is dying.  I would be here more if I found it helpful or supportive to me and my cir****tances.  I want to help those that are living with their band, but then I get bogged down with negativety.  Not blaming anyone...it's just the mental state I'm in.  I'm losing and I want to remain losing. I will share what is working for me, but that's about it.
I've been on prednisone and chemo for over 7.5 years.  Gained over 160 pounds due to pred. Highest wt. 410. Surgery wt. 365. Current wt. 299
See ya,400s, 90s,80s,70s, 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s, 20s, 10s 300s!!!!

 I don't know most of them, lousy at remembering names and avatars. But Bette, Kate, Lisa, Thundergirrl, Tiff, Cheyenne are all fine, thanks.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I can only speak for my self. I still read some post, not near as many as I used to and I hardly reply. Do to the fact this forum is no longer a Lapband support forum it has turned in to a Have your band removed, RNY, Sleeve forum. It seems some people are not happy and feel the need to try to make others feel the same way. Its a shame,  this forum used to be fun and very supportiveplace to be. Now look at it. Congrats to the haters or should I say none Band Cheerleaders you know have your own forum. We have found some where else to Hang out.
